Diana: Triformis
In Lunar Faces | Feminine Divine, Diana has been a goddess that speaks to me personally. Her relationship with Hecate and Luna to form a Triple Goddess is a powerful commentary of female friendships. All of them have some form of association with the moon and harnessing its power. They were a very easy choice to include in this series.
Diana is depicted here on a 3’x3’ wooden panel, pastel forest ground sets the stage for the goddesses who are painted in oil, the forest trees come to life in poured resin while the golden moon that watches is both gold foil and aluminum. Their positions was designed to represent the inviting nature of the coven, strength where two or more are gathered and a belief in their own power.
